Change function keys on C550

Hi guys, im having trouble with the "back" button on my c550 (the one next to the "home" button.

It works intermittantly, but is very stiff.

Is there anyway i can change the function of this button to another ie the home button which i never use, or any of the music player keys which i also never use?.

If so do i need a special proggy to enable me access to the registry if thats the way i need to go.

Just an idea...

Perhaps you can have such task done with help from a script. AutoSmartphone script supports key simulation. Use keycode 27 (Back button). So maybe have the long home button launch the script containing "SendKeyCode,27" command then in effect a 'back' keypress is simulated.
