Guest 2004mark Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 I'm about 6 months into my first 18 month contract with Orange (although have been with them for years on 12 month contracts) My question is, with talk/rumors of the Kaiser being released late summer this year, will Orange let me upgrade my handset after 12 months of my contract without having to pay extra so they can tie me up for another 18 months, or do you generally have to wait the full term of the contract before they offer free upgrades? If it helps my contract is £30pm + £5 3g data package and I have a M3100.
Guest mrdo Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 hmmm. i was wondering pretty much the same thing. i have kaiser envy too. as a quick aside - what data plan are you on ? i had some sort of orange world data plan but it was costing me a fortune to surf the 'real' internet. all i wanted was a decent data plan to cover me looking at the odd website whilst i was out and about. cheers
Guest 2004mark Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 They priced matched a tariff from 3 for me, I get something like 4-500 min a month and 100 txts for £30. I then added on to that the off-peek data package that they do, which is unlimited data between 7pm-8am Mon to Fri and all weekends which is £5 pm - you can get the first 2 months free on 'try' as well. Just ring CS and tell them to add it on. I also got the first 6 months of my tariff at half price (£15 pm) and get my free broadband with the account.

Guest mcwarre Posted March 14, 2007 Report Posted March 14, 2007 6 months into an 18 month contract? You can upgrade but it will cost you a few hundred notes ;)
