Ringtone has to be in "My Documents" to be used

Ok ive ran out of room to store my ringtones and i want to put them in the storage card but when i go to make it a ringtone it says it has to be in "My Documents"

Is there anyway to make it usable anywhere?

Also if i wanted a custom ring tone for a friend it has to be in "My Documents" for it to be used, is there away around this?

Ok i tryed moving them to the Storage card and tryed Storage card > My Doc

Still has to be in the main "My Doc"

You're in the right section but there don't seem to be many members using the Blackjack right now.

Thats kinda got the idea, but still not what im looking for i just need something to make it think its in "My Documents" but its in the storage card, shouldn't have to have a whole program just for that, Prolly just a simple file to reg edit but i have to idea where to start ;)

this is my 1st smart phone / pda ever so im still learning the basics

there's a way around it......all you have to do is create a folder called "My Documents" those words exactly, with the capital letters and everything. Create this folder in your Storage Card root directory, and move all the mp3s that you want as a ringtone to that folder, and it should work. After doing so, just go to "Settings", and "Sounds" and you should know what to do from there on out.....Hope this helps, because it worked for me and I have a BJ.
