I used to have a 2125. Had it for about a year. The joystick gave out, cing said they would send me a replacement. So, I get it... then realize how dumb i was! All of my contacts were on my old phone, along with programs and settings that will take a long time to reset. And all of those programs.... TCPMP, Clearview, 5 emulators, chess... Ugh. Anyway....

I THOUGHT I had successfully unlocked it. I went by and used the guide at the top of the forum. But now, when I try to install TCPMP, I have a message on the phone "This was not intended for this device." Ugh.

So, any help would be greatly appreciated.

you get thet message if you are trying to install PPC s/ware on a smartphone - check to make sure you've downloaded the correct version.

Like Confucious I'm not convinced that the message relates to the application lock.

Again this might seem obvious but what is the file extension of the installer and how are you running it ?

For example, is it a Windows installer in .exe format and you've copied it to the phone ? These files should be run on your PC and all the copying across is done for you.

I know, you're going to flame me for patronising you here.... :D ;)

well, I used the .exe on my computer first, when that didnt work I used the .cab directly on my phone. Same.

Maybe I should just break down and get a RAZR lol

Hi, can you send me the exe - then I can try iyt on my C600. If it works the prob is with your phone. If it doesn't then it's the exe (my C600 is fully unlocked)

The error message is not one you normally get when it's an app unlock problem. The fact that you tried the cab from the exe does show you have some idea what you are doing!

Hopefully, now we've ruled out the basic errors we'll be able to find (and fix) the prob with yours.

Well, I hard reset it, put the .cab in the main memory, then it worked. So, apparently all I needed to do was reset my phone. Thanks for the help, guys.
