Weird message left on my Answering machine

cant understand anything on it, kinda sounds like they're counting. but what's the scream at the end? go ahead and listen for yourselves.

Is the call ID a normal geographic number, or a special/premium rate?

(i.e. - are they trying to get you to phone them?)

Being serious for a moment, it sounded to me like someone dialled your number accidentally - maybe a small child.

It might also have been a call centre because I've had calls from them where they weren't ready for / expecting the pick-up.

I had a listen to this a couple of times.

It does sound like there is some sort of counting and then some screaming. But what if its some sort of count down and the screaming is actually applauding and/ or celebration - for competition/ party/ event/ race count downs etc?

Maybe somebody phoned you to celebrate something with you but for whatever reason it didn't work as planned.

It could also be like Disco Stu said - a mistaken call, maybe somebody accidentally phoned you while watching a TV programme or a young kid while playing a game or something and the counting/ screaming is part of that.

OR I could just be so far off the mark that I should get back in my box!!

lol it probably was something like that. im sure if it was a prank caller trying to scare me they would have called me more now.
