Guest Lynswin Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Hi Whenever I try to send a MMS message that is over a certain size it says "Your message is larger than the sending limit you specified under 'MMS Settings'. To change the limit, open 'MMS Settings' in the start menu." However, I cannot seem to find anywhere where I can change the settings for the MMS size. Can anyone help? I am on the Orange network if this helps. Many thanks Lynda
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Hi Lynda Go to Messaging, Media Messages and hit Menu, Options, Account Setup, Media Messages. Scroll down to Outgoing Message Size and change that to 'All' I have a vague memory that there was a limit imposed by the networks but that might be ancient history. Hope this helps
Guest Lynswin Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Go to Messaging, Media Messages and hit Menu, Options, Account Setup, Media Messages. Scroll down to Outgoing Message Size and change that to 'All' Thanks for the reply, but when I follow your instructions I just have 'Freeserve' listed (which is the account I set up for email). There is nothing else to select and I am definately in media messages before I select menu. Best wishes Lynda
Guest Disco Stu Posted March 18, 2007 Report Posted March 18, 2007 Strange ! Does your GPRS go through Freeserve as well ? Who are now Orange anyway.... Have you tried setting up a new account for MMS ? If lower-sized MMS work can you increase the limit in the Freeserve settings ?
