T-mobile Sda joystick problem after softwear update

I have a SDA from T-mobile, without camera, and i tryed to update the rom last night, and instead of a SDA rom, i used a Qtek 8010 rom. the phone is working fine, but the joystick doesn't respond. instead of "left" and "right" it goes "up" and "down" , and the "left", "right" and "enter" functions doesn't work at all.

so i'm asking if there is a registry key or function ... or is there a *.dll file that i can copy in to the windows directory .. so that the softwear may recognize the keyboard. ;)

Your best bet would be to flash back to the correct ROM for your device, the 8010 while having the same key hardware the button configuration is different due to the joystick design.

I can't get the old rom back on the phone .. because it's older then the Qtek rom recently installed, i tryed to flash the phone with a miniSD card (on witch I backed up a SPVC500 rom) and when pushing the "Volume Down" button in order to flash it, at the bottom of the screen appeared "Not allowed"... so I can't return to an older rom, or how to return to an older SPL ?

I tryed this "downgrade tutorial" http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?p...grade_to_WM2003, but i can't read only the SPL from the phone... only all the software (IPL, SPL, OS, GSM)... and .. problem number 2, when I type this: perl typhoonnbfdecode.pl curspl.sdimg (to get the uniqueid of my disk-on-chip) i get an error message...

C:\Perl\bin>perl typhoonnbfdecode.pl all.bin

Can't locate loadable object for module XdaDevelopers::NbfUtils in @INC (@INC co

ntains: C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib .) at typhoonnbfdecode.pl line 76

Compilation failed in require at typhoonnbfdecode.pl line 76.

BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at typhoonnbfdecode.pl line 76.

what have I done wrong ?

BTW can I write the SPL with TyphoonNbfTools 0.4 ? is it dangerous or risky?

thanks anyways ^;)^
