Guest nickb23 Posted March 19, 2007 Report Posted March 19, 2007 hi all, I have a problem with my m3100 and charging it from a mains. I have no problem charging through my pc via usb, but when I try and charge from a mains plug this is when it starts to go wrong. If I have recently reset my 3100, the first couple of times I try and charge from the mains socket, it works. After that it stops charging. I then have to soft reset it for it to charge again. I have even bought a new charger off ebay, with the same problem. I do have about 4 mini usb chargers at home, and the 3100 does the same thing with all of them. This is also the case with in car charging.. Has anyone else had this problem before? I have had another 3100 that was sent back because it totally stopped charging from the mains, but was ok from USB Many thanks Nick B

Mine will charge fine from the USB cable on my PC - but develops a mind of its own when charged in the car with a cigar->USB converter and the cable. It will only charge when the phone has gone to sleep, and if the phone rings it then hangs up as the call ends requiring a soft-reset to get it back.
Guest Christopher Woods Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Odd, I've never had a problem with my Vario 2... Could it be a hardware fault inherent in all the HERM200s maybe?
