Guest goochy1 Posted March 20, 2007 Report Posted March 20, 2007 Hiya Guys, First time I've posted in this section but now i feel i need to. I'm having a little problem with my bluetooth. When somebody attempts to send me a song via bluetooth it sends 100 % then asks me if i want to save it, so i press yes, however when i try to find it in the storage section however it isn't there. Now i tried this several times but still i can't find it. I checked the memory before sending then after it was "saved" and it was still the same, meaning i was right and that it never actually saved. Pictures that are sent do save and i'm able to move them to my 1GB memory card. So why doesn't it save ?? Anybody any answers to why ?? Cheers Goochy1
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Do you have enough memory in the first place to receive them?
Guest goochy1 Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 Do you have enough memory in the first place to receive them? Yes more than double !
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I have heard of this happening before...can't remember the solution off the top of my head though! Try renaming the mp3 to .jpg or similar and see if that works?

Guest pd.ryder Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 (edited) Hmm, it's been a while since I had the C550 ;) but do check the folders inside of /Storage, such as My Docs and even the My Music folder. I seem to remember it filing some files into the 'right' box sometimes with particular file extensions. Having said that, if your memory count isn't changing it probably isn't there. You might like to PM gpcarreon or even visit his own site www.gpcarreon.com What that man doesn't know about the 550 isn't worth knowing :D I do remember the bluetooth stack on the 550 being rather tempermental. Some phones it lurves to receive from, others it just 'doesn't like'. :( Edited March 23, 2007 by pd.ryder
