SPV C500 fell in a river

Since I drunkenly fell in a river, my SPV C500 refuses to turn on.

I have accepted the fact that I'll probably have to buy a new phone but wondered if anyone has any ideas.

It is completely dried out now and the hard reset guide does not do anything.

Plugging it in to the charger doesn't light up the light.

?

Sounds pretty dead i'm afraid! Theres a few dismantling guides in the Typhoon forum i believe, you could try taking it apart to make sure its completely dry, otherwise you'll have to get a new phone.

ihad the same problem only my phone got put through the washing machine, i went to get a new phone and ended up getting a blackjack although i dont know if i am going to keep it, if i dont ill go for the htc tytn aka cingular 8525. i need advice on whether or not the 8525 is worth the extra money or if a new gen of phones is about to come out and maybe i could wait until the price goes down. srry i completely changed the topic but i thought maybe you might be going through the same delema soon. i posted a thread asking for advice a week or so ago and have yet to have any replies. if you have any advice please pm me so i dont feel like i hijacked this thread. thanks.

I so did the exact same thing phone wise! My SMT5600 got wet because I jumped in a pool with it and it refuses to turn on and light doesnt even blink. So I later got a Blackjack. ;)
