Generally we need more information so we can diagnose what's wrong and then give you the solution. So run us through exactly what your setup was before and afterwards and the bit in the middle ;) There might be a quick fix available. Phil Edited March 22, 2007 by The Doctor
Guest adzisfat Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 The bootloader says IPL 2.00 SPL 2.00.0014 And Basically, i downloaded the i-mate SP5 WWE 2.5.331.2 rom and then edited the header data using TyphoonNbfTools, changing the values to something like this: Model ID: SPV_C600 Image Version: 12.2.1.5 Language: English Secondary Version: 3.0.6.0 Operator: ORG_0401 Then, I ran the RomUpdateUtility and followed the steps then the phone went into the loading screen and so did the computer, which seemed to work fine and the RomUpdateUtility showed a message saying something along the lines of 'Rom update was successful'. So, I unplugged the phone from the computer and then turned it off because it was in the bootloader screen then turned it back on, but it came up with the standard orange screen then flashed white and went back into the bootloader screen which happened every time i turned it off and on again. adam.

Odd... it obviously flashed the thing but the flash didnt take ;) Try removing the Operator data from the header data (leave itr blank) of the nbf and try again. Phil
Guest genecann Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I am at work so this will have to be quick... Search on google for ANY Official orange rom you should find some I screwed my phone up in the exact same manner. I had to install the ferman orange rom first and then install the English rom.... Once this is done emal this address developers/at/orange.com and tell them you want a security level changer giving them your IMEI number (under the battery by the sd card socket) your full name and mobile number (it doesnt need to be an orange phone number) and they will send you a file copy it onto your phone via activsync and runit you will see a message telling you that your security setting is now disabled then go to spv-deleopers.com and download there app and your phone will be unlocked ****The tool from spv-developers need to be run from your pc with your phone plugged in via usb and synced woth activesync*** Sorry this is a quick post and as I wrote it so quickly uou may find it hard to understand so I do appologise Cheer's GeneX
