Pocketnester and Snes9xJ4 Help

When i go to the option screen on pocketnester while running a rom, the rom slows down and gets all glitchy. The games run perfectly if i dont access the menu. Is there a fix out there for this? Also Im running Snes9xJ4. It only runs at about half speed. I cant find any other snes emulators to work on my treo 750. Ive tried pocketsnes and smartsnes. Neither do anything when I try to load a rom. Does anyone know of a snes emulator that runs a near full speed.
