Guest Paul (MVP) Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Following on from it's release to stores, Call of Duty 2 is now also available to buy at Handango, priced at $29.99. Sadly, no trial version is available, which I suspect will somewhat hinder sales! If you've been itching to get your hands on it thought, you now can ;) The listed requirements are as follows...There are two versions of the game, a hardware accelerated version and a non-hardware accelerated version; the proper version will install on your device based on auto-detection. For the fully 3D hardware version, you will need a device with either the Intel 2700G graphics processor (found in both the Dell Axim X51v and X50v), or a device with the nVidia GoForce 5500. *Supported Pocket PCs: Dell Axim X51, Dell Axim X50, Dell Axim X50, Dell Axim X51v, Dell Axim X30, HP iPAQ hx2410/2415, HP iPAQ hx2700/2750, and HP iPAQ hx4700/4705. RECOMMENDED HARDWARE: For the software version of the game, we recommend 500MHz and above Intel XScale processors. This would include the Dell Axim X51 and X50. We also recommend that your device has a touch screen. Those are some rather heady requirements! P
Guest Confucious Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 There are no HTC devices compatible with "Call of Duty 2 Pocket PC Edition" ;)
Guest Bongmaster Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Not sure I believe that ;) P i bet it works on my Monet :D
Guest Confucious Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Would it work on a Universal? pity there's no demo!
Guest Christopher Woods Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Pfft, so our ATi ImageOn processors are sitting there doing... Nothing at all. Still. Doesn't even work in TCPMP properly. Still. Haha
Guest mikeeey Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 didnt know this, but it actually works on smartphones! unfortunatly its barely playable on vertical qvga devices. however, horizontal qvga devices itl play fine on. it may require some overclocking, and for better framerate u can turn the low quality setting on.
