Guest fasteye Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 I'm fortunate to be able to test the Cingular Samsung Blackjack i607 and Samsung i600. The firmware is significantly different as are the menu options. The Blackjack has an Settings option to turn off T9 input but I don't find this option on the i600. Does anyone know how disable this as it impacts with the Good Mobile Messaging solution I'm running.

And here you are with the possibility to select another mode such as abc, 123, T9, etc.

This is a particular problem in Good Mobile Intranet where any Intranet page data input field or password authentication box needs to have you change to ABC input method before you can start entry. This really impacts usability. I want to turn it completely off as you can on the Blackjack. I'm assuming it's just a registry key tweak somewhere but haven't found it yet.
