Guest magic_peanuts Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 (edited) Seen on the HTC site today, the HTC Advantage X7501 is the same X7500 with Windows Mobile 6! The HTC Advantage X7501 is a powerful mobile office device that lets you work wherever and whenever you want. Powered by Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 with Direct Push Technology, you have the office tools you need while on the road. Attach the QWERTY keyboard and easily type up documents, e-mails, and messages. The huge 5-inch VGA display provides you more than enough room for surfing the Web and viewing documents. With its 3G, Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth® 2.0 capabilities, you stay connected to the world. The built-in 8GB hard drive gives you plenty of room to store your work and media files on the phone, and if that’s not enough, insert a miniSD™ card to add even more storage space. Use the TV Out feature to output contents on the screen onto an external display such as a Projector or TV when doing presentations or sharing photos. You can also print out documents by connecting to a Bluetooth® or network printer. Have your office with you wherever you are with the HTC Advantage X7501. Guest mitch1974 Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 I might be wrong, but I'm sure it has double the RAM and ROM.
Guest inspectorgadjet Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 You are wrong. It is pretty much the same device without the front camera for video calling. It has the same amount of RAM and ROM according to the HTC web site.
Guest mitch1974 Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 You're right, my bad. Wonder why they've removed the 2nd camera? Mess with people who want to use a ROM image from it in their X7500?
Guest Confucious Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I don't think many USD carriers support 3G or video calling. It's not a problem as WM6 is available for the X7500/Athena (at least the UK and I think German versions) now.
Guest mitch1974 Posted July 3, 2007 Report Posted July 3, 2007 I thought that was later this month, or for the carrier specific ones, September. (though, I may be wrong again)
