Guest adchaffey Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Hi, I know a few people on this forum are interested in cars, so thought I might find some interest here. Even if you're not, you may be interested anyway! In August I will be taking part in the Ramshackle Rally. It's related to the Gumball Rally which most people have probably heard of, but involves driving from Calais to Krakow (in Poland) via a few countries in a car we bought for less than £100. Anyway, I've set up a blog to detail our progress which I hope is quite an interesting read and is at www.teamcarmageddon.wordpress.com. We are doing the rally for charity, but more information and a link to make a donation (if you're feeling generous!) is on the site.
Guest adchaffey Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Good luck on the trip Thanks for taking the time to look. Paul, I'm considering getting sponsors for adding company logos to the car. Would the Modaco network be willing to make a donaction in return for me whackng a big Modaco logo on the car?? Hope you don't think it's cheeky, but if you don't ask, you don't get! ;-)

Guest adchaffey Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 haha nice one. i'll come and join you when i pass my driving test...or better still buy the car off you if its still in one piece ;) Unfortunatly the plan is to scrap the car once we reach Poland and catch a flight home. The flight is already booked, but we're already becoming quite attached to the car, so it might be a tearfull goodbye! Well, we're going through the MOT checklist tomorrow ready for the test on Friday, so I might change my mind soon!
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted March 28, 2007 Report Posted March 28, 2007 Looks like wicked fun. Just need to convince my mates to pass their driving test (how they still don't have one i don't know!). I can see something like this turning into an expensive project though!
