Dummy's guide needed to using M3100 as usb modem

Hi all,

Can anyone provide me with (or point me to) a dummy's guide to setting up my M3100 as a USB modem. I mean, so I can surf the net from my Laptop via 3G.

I'm sure the instructions are on here somewhere but I just can't seem to find them. I've search the internet too and still no luck. There are all sorts of 'almost the right instructions' but I don't know enough to be able to adapt them to my situation:

How do I get Windows XP to see the M3100 as a modem via USB? Do I have to disable ActiveSync, and if so, how?

I understand that I have to use 'orange' 'orange' and *99# to dial. I also found a connection string I have to put in somewhere, but not sure quite where.

Just a step by step guide assuming I don't know anything.

I'll be forever grateful ;)
