Any XML expert care to try and help me on this?

I used the tutorial which is by far one of the best ive seen on the net. Yet when I created my homescreen I keep getting a long white bar on the far right side of my home screen with a square that moves when I scroll down my home screen. It almost looks like a scrollbar on my home screen. Here is the XML code and bg I'm using.

Anyone shed any light on this?

Here is a crappy picture that shows the error im having.

note the white bar on far right with the blue that is the issue.
