why MS voice command doesn't work with hermes bluetooth ( FUNNY)

my friend tried to contact microsoft to give them the ms voice command fix for bluetooth for the hermes... Read below...(bottom upwards) you will laugh and cry..how did this company get where they are now with peopel like this working for them.... its ironic that the emails are coming from msCONus (mirosoft contact us)

Message: Why can't you guys release a patch so that it works with bluetooth.... The people at xda developers have managed to get it working... why can't you guys??? I will wait until its fixed before I buy it....

When will you add features to it? Its been languishing so long...

Here is the isntructions: How to make Microsoft Voice Command 1.6 work (WM5 & WM6 tested!).

(caution, this MAY disable all incoming call notifications over the speaker and obviously doesn't route the notifications to the headset - that's a MS stack problem...)

1. Install VC 1.6 (make sure it is in Main memory)

2. Download Bluetooth Voice Command 0.9f.cab here - related forum thread

3. Download ?BTVoiceCommand.exe here - related forum thread

4. Create the Folder \Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command (should be created during the .9f cab install)

5. Copy ?BTVoiceCommand.exe into this folder

6. Run .9f Hack

7. Go to newly created BT Voice Command config (in Programs) and tick off the check box "Enabled"

8. Set command duration to 30

9. Set or check that the following registry keys are set (I had to manually change Path to ?BTVoiceCommand.exe.)

10. HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\?VoiceCommand\Path = "\Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command\?BTVoiceCommand.exe"

11. HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\?VoiceCommand\?VoiceCmdDuration = 30

12. HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\?AudioGateway\?BTAGExtModule = "\Windows\btagext.dll"

1. *Go into the registry and set ?LaunchAPEnable to 1 (I wasn't sure if this was necessary...but it's working now)

2. Soft reset 8525

3. *Delete Headset Pairing - (may not be necessary)

4. *Recreate Headset Pairing.

5. Set Side button to ?VoiceCommand (if desired for backup when using Mortscript described below)

You may also need to create the directory \Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command and move the files over if you live in a different country and MS installs everything to something similar - like Programme...
