Guest badass101 Posted April 3, 2007 Report Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) I was looking at my phone tonight and trying to work out why I couldn't browse the web on my WiFi connection (Locating, followed by DNS error) and I've found something really screwy: In the 'Network Cards' section, where the dropdown list is that says 'My Network Card connects to:', the list is blank! It did used to have 'The internet' and 'Work' as options, and I used to have it set to the internet setting. Clicking on the 'Connections' tab and then onto the connections application gives me a blank white page, where i used to have hyperlinks saying something like 'Connect to work' Oddly, my 3G connection still seems to work OK... However, this can't be good, so I need to get it back working properly! Has this ever happened to anyone else? I've tried a soft-reset with no luck. Don't really want to hard reset unless absolutely necessary. Phone is around 6 weeks old, with a smattering of custom apps loaded, but basically it's pretty bog standard. Guest marisa4755 Posted April 4, 2007 Report Posted April 4, 2007 I think it sounds like you have to set up your wifi connection again, just like you did when you first got the device. It seems that it has 'lost' your initial set up. If it were me I would go Start/settings/connections and delete the connection you have on the wireless tab (if any) and then start again.
