SPV M3100 GPS tom tom 6

hi,

i just purchased and installed tom tom version 6 for my spv m3100,

i have installed it fine but have come across a problem with the GPS settings,

i was under the impression that the SPV M3100 came with built in GPS yet it does not show up in the GPS settings in the tom tom software.

can anyone help me with this issue?

Officially the M3100 does not have inbuilt GPS. Although the hardware appears to be there, i don't think anyone has managed to get it working yet...
