SPV M3100 GPS tom tom sat nav version 6

hi,

i just purchased and installed tom tom version 6 for my spv m3100,

i have installed it fine but have come across a problem with the GPS settings,

i was under the impression that the SPV M3100 came with built in GPS yet it does not show up in the GPS settings in the tom tom software.

can anyone help me with this issue?

Sorry mate,

The M3100 does not have built in GPS, you'll need to get a Bluetooth GPS unit

luckily you can get them from eBay cheap enough ;)
