tomtom maps-eastern europe

o.k. in all the years of being a modaco member (2001 i think), this is my first post. all i would like to know is, does anybody know where i can purchase a copy of tomtom 6 (navigator?) maps for eastern europe? i have the detailed one (poland, lithuania etc.) for tomtom 5 but yes, fat boy here upgraded a while ago to 6. i don;t fancy down grading for the summer but it's rapidly looking like it. any offers?? cheers . . .

I had the same problem just could not find the maps on the TomTom website, funny.

Now I've got it both, TomTom 6.0 with 6.0-maps for Central+Eastern Europe as one single map. But all I can tell is that I didn't pay money for it.

There are is 2 1 places on the TomTom site to buy Eastern Europe Maps! :

1) Go to PDA Navigation and then select Software and Regional Maps (costs €99 on memory card) then select the Eastern Europe Map: ah- I see what you mean- next step doesn't include Eastern Europe !

2) From the Home page, select Maps, and from there you can go through a selection process which does allow you to order Eastern Europe, and obtain them as a download
