Guest shedwood Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Hi I'm trying to set up my Windows mobile so it searches my company address directory when I'm creating a new email message and am having a few problems. If anyone can answer or give advice on the following that would be great. 1. Will all LDAP servers work automatically if set up as an online address book on a Windows Mobile device or could firewall settings prevent them working? 2. When set up will the name be recognised as you type it, as happens with addresses stored in your Windows Mobile device contacts, or will you still have to select 'Check Names'? 3. What do you do with a network administrator who says you need to upgrade to Office 2007 in order to get LDAP to work?! 4. Connected with 3 where would I find the LDAP Director Name and Server details? Cheers for any advice you can give. Ed
