Guest MartyBrad Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Hi. I came across quite a cool Push email application for syncing work Outlook and Notes email with mobile phones and PDA's. Unlike similar solutions, it is cheap, can be installed on over 200 types of mobile phones and PDA's and takes about 15 minutes to set up. Its called Always-On Mail and is distributed by a company called Work Out of Office. Once it is setup, you can sync in real time your Outlook or Notes email, Calendar entries and contacts with most mobile clients. I've been using it for a few weeks now after downloading a trial from the below site: www.workoutofoffice.com A useful app for mobile workers. Martin.
Guest chucky.egg Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Nice advert, but it's the same service that Seven have been offering direct to consumers for ages now. Unlike this solution, the built in MS Direct Push function is free and built in to all new MS Smartphones
Guest MartyBrad Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 (edited) That did sound a bit addy I suppose. Not intentional, just a good app so thought I'd give it a plug.... Just a few brief comments on your post... 1. The MS product doesn't support Symbian phones 2. It also doesn't work with Domino 3. SEVEN no longer sell directly, therefore the software can only be purchased through distributors (such as Work Out of Office). Martin Edited April 10, 2007 by MartyBrad
