SP5m won't charge

I have a Imate sp5m and since 2 weeks, I wont get any indication on my battery life it would only show on the battery status "Unknown". Also, when I recharge it, it will stay at 00% not more and then it will go back to the unknown status. I just bought a new battery but I still got the same problem. The green light on top left won't even flash anymore.

Does someone know how to fix this problem?? Is my Sp5m dead??

The usual course of action for odd errors like that is a hard reset. This will nuke everything on your handset and reprovision all the default settings, hopefully fixing your problem!
