Im not sure how to fix it, even if it is possible. But I just got an Orange M600, and it says when I try to update my e-mail that I am roaming. Is there a way to fix this? I know for sure Im not roaming. Thanks!!

Didn't Cingular merge with AT&T? So if you have a cingular SIm but are on an AT&T cell it shows as roaming even tho nthey are the same network now. Could that be the problem? If so it is nothing to worry about. But why does it only show when yoy are updating your email?

Im not sure, it doesn't say anything about roaming when I make or receive calls, only when I want to push my mail with xpress mail it says " You are currently roaming, Synchronizing may result in additional charges"

I have no clue, Would it matter if my orange m600 is unlocked or anything? OR it could be that I am running WM6.

I am having the same issue. I installed Black 2.0 (WM6) and everytime I check my email, i get the same message on my Cingular 8525. I don't know if it's because I changed the ROM to this new version because it wasn't doing it before or if it's my Edge settings with T-Mobile.

Note: If i try to check my email without edge, but using WIFI, it doesn't pop up. Ideas?

OK - You get the roaming message when you are using a different network to that of your SIM - hence you won't get the message when using WiFi as you are not using a network!

When using a different network you should have a white triangle on the top bar next to the G/E/3G/H/U

If you have a cingular SIM and are using an AT&T cell it will show as roaming (unless they have fixed it yet - they hadn't a few months ago, but I'm in the UK so am not certain) but you will not be charged roaming as they are now one company.

If you are using a different operator's cell and are actually roaming I don't know what the charges are like in the US because I believe they have roaming agreements as their coverage isn't that good - in Europe roaming charges are horrendous!

Isn't there a way to disable this roaming feature for Outlook, so it won't bug every single time? This makes trigger mail checking pointless because it won't download it until that window goes away.

The phone is meant for cingular, but I debranded it using Black 2.0 ROM. Now it's just HTC with wm6. I'm on a TMobile network in the US (California specifically). Any ideas on how to remove this roaming message? I tried to look up roaming in the system registry and found a key that I thought would make sense, but this didn't work.

Ideas please!

This isnt a fix, but a work around. I just downloaded emoze. its a push e-mail client just like xpress mail. Its free and everything. just google it. it works pretty nicely.
