Guest MikeSel Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 (edited) Hello I have had my M3100 for about 2 months now, and I love it. I was wondering if anyone knew how I come get the device to lock automatically on a timer? My device checks for e-mail using emoze an sometimes the screen comes on in my pocket. I try an remember to click the device lock on it from the 'today' screen but I often forget. Is it possible for this to be done automatically? I am fluent in VB.Net but can't figure out how to do it. Thanks ** EDIT ** An then I googled...... http://maniac.fschreiner.de/component/opti...gid,5/Itemid,3/ Edited April 7, 2007 by MikeSel
Guest Christopher Woods Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 Nice ;) I found another app, called Device Lock, which just initiates the WM5 locked device mode (and kills all the buttons and the touchscreen), and to unlock it you hit the power button, press Unlock (left soft key) then press the Unlock button which appears on the screen. Nice, because I don't want to have the timeout to locked device feature enabled all the time, but I do want it when I'm walking / on the bus. It started off as a Today Plugin, but was released as a standalone (there's no options, you just fire it up by choosing it from the Programs menu or assign it to a softkey - I mapped it to the voice dial button on mine). Ta for pointing me to KeyLock though, I'd found it ages ago and then promptly forgotten what it was called - been racking my brains for AGES trying to think of what it was!
