Guest gohome190 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 I followed these directions: http://richtech.wordpress.com/2006/05/11/g...-cingular-2125/ to get my Logitech headphones to sync with my 2125. I installed the files, but now I don't know what to do. If I go to settings, connections, bluetooth, find new device, it doesnt find it! Any help? Thanks!
Guest mini_man Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 When you Say sync do you mean connect? If you have already paired all you need to do is: 1) Go to the devices window in bluetooth settings. 2) Hover over the headphones. 3) Hit the right softkey and then just set as wireless Stereo. Is this useful or have I got the wrong end of the stick? Sam
Guest gohome190 Posted April 13, 2007 Report Posted April 13, 2007 No, I guess I didn't pair them... Is that connecting them? Because the phone and the headphones both search for each other, at least I think so. The phone hasnt found it though... thanks...
Guest gohome190 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Still nothing. I hope I didnt buy these for nothing.
Guest mini_man Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Hmm, which model do you have? Is this them? I cannot seem to find any instructions on the web so I cannot tell you how to pair them. 1) Look in your User guide and read up about how to put them in discoverable mode (pairing mode) then do so. 2) On your phone go to the devices screen in bluetooth settings and tell it too look for a New device. If you have successfully put your headphones in discovery mode then it will display your headphones on the screen simply select them enter the pairing code which again should be in your user guide under pairing and then they will have connected giving you the options of how you would like to use them (headset, wireless stereo). Automatically they will now be connected as wireless stereo but when you restart your phone/headphones you will need to go back into devices and simply connect as "wireless stereo". I will keep looking for someone instructions but a model number or picture of the headphones you are using would be useful . If you are unsure if you have paired them can you upload a screen shot of your devices screen? You can use this utility. magic_ss.exe Hope this helps! Sam
Guest gohome190 Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 http://www.streettech.com/storypics/freePulsePhones.jpg> They are the Logitech Free Pulse. By the way, thanks for the help. Okay, The manual says nothing about connecting to anything other than the default receiver ( I think they dont want the customer to do that ). I but my headphones in the "search for receiver" mode, and then my phone is also searching. The 2125 then stops and says that no devices were found. It seems as if the phone doesnt even recognize the headphones. My only (dumb) guess is that the phone's bluetooth name is different than the reciever that came with the headphones.... And maybe the headphones look for that certain name? Thanks for all your help!
Guest gohome190 Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 Oops. Just go to that address.
Guest mini_man Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Ok I think i know what is going on here. "search for receiver" mode sounds like the headphones can not be put in discoverable mode and only in on and searching mode and that you can only set your bluetooth adapter reciever in discoverable, so it looks like you cannot use these headphones with you phone. Sorry San
