Guest Neil5459 Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 You can't use MP3 files as alerts or alarms on Windows Mobile devices, without using 3rd party software. Ringo Mobile will do what you want. By default, alarms/alerts must be in WAV format, and reside in the Windows folder. They need to be as small as possible (no more than a few KB). Ringtones can be WAV, MID, WMA or MP3 and need to be in the Windows/Rings, or Application Data/Sounds folder.

Guest Neil5459 Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 In that case, they need to stay in Windows/Rings. Which AKU version is the i320? I think the Application Data/Sounds alternative path was introduced in AKU 2.5, but may vary from device to device.
