HOW TO RESET CALL COUNTER?

Hi All,

I would like to know if there's the possibility of resetting the call counter found under Settings/information/call counter, of my Trinity.

As far as I know, you can't reset the call timers. You can delete the Calls List from Phone/Call Lists, as I'm sure you know.

The call timers even used to survive a hard reset on WM2003 devices, but I'm not sure if that still happens.

U can deleted Call duration by using Mtty commans but firstly make your device supercid !

I've found a post talking about the mtty.exe, but I can'y have the USB> prompt...

Perhaps is because my device isn't supercid.

Can You please post an accurate description of the operations to be done to reset the couter?

You need bootloader 1.04 (or a 1.04 based bootloader) to use the rtask command

1. Put device in bootloader

2. Disable activesync usb connections

3. Open up mtty.exe and select usb from the port menu.. dont touch anything else

4. When you see "USB>" prompt type this (DO NOT COPY-PASTE):

USB> rtask b

0 <--- wait until you see a "0" here

ate1 <--- enable local echo

atv1 <--- verbose output for return values

AT@talk?1 <--- get outgoing call time

AT@talk?0 <--- get incoming call time

AT@TALK=, <--- set incoming and outgoing call

value1 and value2 need to be high (>9999) HEX values (eg B76A). This will reset the call timers to 0

but I have a problem.

My device has 1.07 bootloader...how can i change it?

If I've understood well, the bootloader is preloaded in my Trinity, isn't it?

I haven't seen a ROM update with bootloader 1.04 in it yet (I've seen a 1.05). Try it anyway, if it still doesn't work, email/PM/MSN me etc and we'll get it sorted ;)

Well like i said, try the rtask command and see if it lets you execute it. if not PM/email/MSN me ;)
