A few questions from a Newbie! Ur help would be appreciated!

Hi Everyone!

First off, this site is amazing - thanks to everyone who looks after it as I wouldn't be able to enjoy my phone as much without this site!

Ok, I have a few questions -

1) - How easy is it to replace the housing on my SPV C550 as it's badly cracked and I refuse to pay the £60 + that orange have said it will cost to send it off to them! ;)

2) - Bluetooth - Everytime I do a device search, any devices my phone locates automatically asks to transfer data - but i'm just searching! Is there any other software available rather than using the in built method on my phone?

3) - Games - Specifically Java Games - Does anyone know of a reliable source for these? Ive tried a few sites but am a little dubious about getting viruses etc. Im probably worrying about nothing though!

I hope its ok to post such a long winded post for my first one!

1: Check out eBay, theres usually replacement shells one there pretty cheap (never actually looked for C550 ones though...)

2: Pretty sure you ultimately have to stick with the build in client from searching. Have you tried accepting the connection? It might just go on to the pairing wizard...

3: Java games are a bit meh, especially when you consider how many are available natively for the OS. Check out www.astraware.com, one of the biggest (and friendliest!) WM games developers. Also take a look at MoDaCo Fairdeal's options (link at the top of this page) and www.handango.com for more stuff.

about item 3,i don't think the java game is your best choice,acturally there is lot of games wholly for wm platform,

i think they would be better than thoese java games

Heya I dont have a proper answer for your question but for other bluetooth applications you can try software such as Sniper.
