working virtual machine on vista for ppc

i have a ppc and installed parallels virtual machine but when i plug in my phone my vista recognizes the device but the windows xp virtual machine doesnt read the phone...and i installed activesync...can any1 help?

I seem to remember reading that theres some issues with USB and Parallels compatibility?

parallels has usb capability and i read in the ruu on vista page that someone in there had it working and it also had a screenshot

Ah yes i remember seeing it. Have you checked all the connection settings in Activesync on XP are right?

yes im pretty sure that everything is the way it should b but still no connection...should i reinstall the xp operating system and try again?

You can try. Before you do so though, right click the activesync icon in your system tray and click "connection settings". Make sure that "Allow USB connections are allowed" is checked!

yup it is checked...and still no action...ill reinstall windows

no luck...i think im going to uninstall mobile device center...

still no work...i think i need the cd...or an iso of the cd
