c500 prob with ringtone

Hi all, I have just got a SPV C500 phone which is cool but i have a problem i have downloaded a ringtone for my phone but when i go to choose it from the sounds it is not in there. Instead i have the ringtone in file mgr/storage/windows/appmgr/PROVIDER Akumiitti Sound girlfri5.wma also a nelly track which is in file magr/storage/my docs/nellyfurta.mp3.

How do i get the nelly one to be a ringtone any help appreaciated dont realy want the avril one now as heard it and is not that great lol..

sorry for the delay :D

Generally speaking, ringtones need to be in \Storage \Application Data \Sounds for the Settings applet to pick them up.

WMA files should be okay but I'm not sure that MP3s work with the C500.

You can also put the files on the Storage Card (or \Storage Card \My Documents) to save space.
