Guest obladi Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 I am using Windows Mobile 5.0 based smartphone, in particular Cingular HTC 2125. It was possible to access PC's internet from the smartphone via ActiveSync, but I can't do it now after upgrading OS and ActiveSync. How can I do this? My PC is Windows XP and Active Sync is 4.5
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted April 20, 2007 Report Posted April 20, 2007 Check in Activesyncs options that passthrough internet access is enabled.
Guest obladi Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Is that option also available for Active Sync 4.5 ? I think I had such option for an older version, but can't find it now. Do I have to lower the version? Check in Activesyncs options that passthrough internet access is enabled.
Guest Monolithix (MVP) Posted April 21, 2007 Report Posted April 21, 2007 Hmm no you shouldnt have too. I've just looked myself and can't see the option! I've attached my connection settings, you're should be fairly similar (although i'm not sure if these will affect passthrough settings)

My seeting is exactly same as yours, but still doesn't work. What about the smartphone side? My smartphone is Cingular 2125 and Windows Mobile 5.0. Anything to work on the smartphone? Setting?

I had trouble with my blackjack before but this site helped me fix it: http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/activesync/tshoot-as4x.htm The LSPValue.reg registry file, I downloaded and ran on my computer then magically everything started working.

Guest Ken_i607 Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 What version of Activesync are you using? I use 4.2, I had troubles with 4.5 at first.
