about pim.vol

did wm5 have a function that it will auto rewriting or resaving pim.vol sometimes

even I didn't modify anywhere about calender or contacts or tasks?

or did pom.vol will be rewrited before I shut off my device?

It shouldn't get re-written when you power the phone off/on.

pim.vol contains your contacts and calendar items and tasks. If you have none of any of those, then I can see why it might change it once and awhile.

I'm not sure I understand your specific problem though. Did you have items (calendar, tasks, or contacts) that have disappeared?
