Samsung i600 - Customize MS Carousel / Card Wheel

Hi there,

I have a Samsung SGH-i600 with the MS Carousel / Card Wheel Software on the Home / Today Screen installed (sitting in the ROM image of the Samsung I assume).

Because I do not use the Windows Media Player and I would like to get rid of tabs which I don't use / like:

Is there any chance to edit Carousel, so that "Last tille", "Actual Playing" (and maybe "My Photos") will be removed out of Carousel?

Is there a editable XML (or whatever) file available to do that?

Doesn't look likely

If you read the Homescreen XML you'll see this:

	</plugin>

	<plugin clsid="{6BC0CE3D-42F7-44be-A02D-C0253F86D879}" name="Carousel Homescreen" height="266">

	</plugin>

They may have put that facility in, but you'd have to find the documentation for it.

Do I need to reflash the original ROM?

Here you'll find the newest Samsung unbraned Rom. This contains the card wheel home screen and works (I personally did the upgrade 3 times):

DO I realy need to change my ROM to install the Card Weel Plugin?? Can´t I just install the Plugin??

The problem is that I like my actual rom (it´s in Portuguise) and I dont want to loose Warranty.
