Guest Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Here's one for all you Hermes owners out there..... I have noticed that, when the phone is booting up, and when you load the Camera application - the backlight goes even brighter than normal and it looks really good. When you come out of the camera - it dims slightly to the usual "100% brightness". I have backlight set to 100% for both battery and AC power. Anyone know of a tweak to enable the extra bright backlight? Or is it just an eccentricity of my particular Hermes? ;)
Guest matt1971 Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Hi, There was an app that a chap called Vijay developed. I know it was mentioned on xda-developers forums, but it came with a warning that it could damage your device. Take a search over on xda-developers and you should be able to find something. Hope this helps. Matt

Guest M@rkC Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 do they have a version of this for smartphone? for an sda for example? Sorry, I don't think so - all of Vijay's utilities seem to be for PPC..... ;) You could try posting a question on the forum (link in my previous post) to see if the Lumos utility will work - or can be made to work - with SmartPhones? Mark.
