Hi guys

Are any of you experiencing a problem with the SPV E650 directional keypad. the down button in particular seems noisy and a little uncomfortable to use when compared to the others.

i recall Paul mentioning something about this.......

Or do i have a faulty handset?

The noise of the button should be the exact same click, and I wouldn't say it's uncomfortable to use... it IS close to the 2 key, but generally not such that it is an issue (unlike the preprod unit!)

i had my E650 replaced today becasue the # button was clicky. it sounded like the membrane underneath was creased. the button worked 99 times out of a 100 but it was never gonna last.

Full credit to the O shop in Portsmouth tho. Phoned them up to talk about it and the girl there was fine, put a new unit aside for me, told me it would take a good half hour to do the instore replacement and sure enough, they had a handset waiting for me and all sorted!!!

The right hand side of my keypad has a different sound to the left side, sounds a bit 'noisier'. I'll give it a week or so and maybe give O a call.
