TT5 Update for SPV C500

I know this is now a 'golden oldie' as far as phones and problems go, but can someone point me in the direction of the TomTom traffic update to download that will allow an SPV C500 to find the GPS device using TomTom 5?

After much searching, I've found out this is apparently the only solution to get the phone/GPS/TomTom to work together, the problem being that no GPS is found, at least not until the traffic update is installed.
