Guest Pagemakers Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Is the T-Mobile Web N Walk Data Card now Vista compatible? Anybody got it to work?
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Think I've found the answer.... http://lastmile.t-mobile.co.uk/datacardhel...web_n_walk_card
Guest Paul (MVP) Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Mine works  http://www.mobiholics.com/T-Mobile-data-ca...ta-t251676.html P
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 Paul is there any difference between the wnw data card and the wnw compact card? I quite like the idea of the card sitting completely inside my laptop with no dongly bits.
Guest coulsond Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 lol, I just bought a new laptop with XP on it last week as i have a datacard and now I read this thread and t-mobile release the Vista drivers. Does anyone know when t-mobile are going to release an express card version of the datacard? something else which I have a problem with with a new laptop, wrong slots!! cheers Dean
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 27, 2007 Report Posted April 27, 2007 There already is an express card version http://lastmile.t-mobile.co.uk/datacardhel...walk_compact_ii
Guest coulsond Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 (edited) Well according to this... http://lastmile.t-mobile.co.uk/datacardhel...e_id=99#link112 select the compact II card from the listbox. the compact II card is pcmcia. Edited April 30, 2007 by coulsond
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 The in-store told me the plug-in end of the card is curved and would not fint in a PMCIA slot.
Guest coulsond Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 oh well, someone is wrong, if it is PCMCIA, I would love to know when the express card will be available. I have a "express card to pcmcia" adaptor on order and it is £100, don't really want to have to buy one, especially if I knew how or when to get an express card version.
Guest Pagemakers Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 (edited) It is available now. Faster speeds than the rest but no wifi. Edited April 30, 2007 by Pagemakers
Guest coulsond Posted April 30, 2007 Report Posted April 30, 2007 Are you still referring to the Compact II card? I think I will give T-mobile a ring to see what the situation is. I don't need wifi as my laptop already has it built in. thanks for your time.
