HTC Vox Theme

Well I don't know if it is the right place :rolleyes:

Here is my first specific theme for my vox.

Thanks to sbsh forum for the help.

This theme require facade plugin from www.sbsh.net

1) download facade here and install it

2) unzip the attachement and copy the "black" folder in \Program Files\Facade\Skins\ on your Vox

3) copy the 3 files jpa* in \Application date\Home\ on your vox

4) go to Settings\Homescreen on your vox and select JPA Simple Black Vox Theme

I had tried to mess around with some older themes, but my knowledge of how to put these together isn't good, so I'd given up and was hoping someone else would come up with a decent theme!

The only alteration I will probably make to this one is to see if I can insert the Fizz Traveller plug-in, below Facade.

What software do you use to create the Homescreen? Or is it good 'ol Notepad?

I would like to change some subtle thing from the MS Default Homescreen,

mainly the order.

I would like to have:

1. Icons on top (=default)

2. Provider info, time (=default)

3. Profile Selection

4. SMS / MMS / VM info

5. Appointments

And maybe a nice blue color instead of the greenish-blue.

If you want fizz traveller instead you just need to change the xml file : replace lines:

by the good one. To find the good one, install fizz traveler and open the fizz traveller xml file in \Application date\Home\

I made this one, no fun, just for work ... The interest is to have my agenda and my tasks on the same screen. To do that i made a specific use of facade => you can't use facade app to customise my xml...

unzip the file in \Application Data\Home\ (it will create a subfolder with the background images)

Anybody know how to add Fizz Weather to Facade? I'm not a computer person and so I don't want to fiddle with the XML file, but I have a good home screen with facade and the only thing missing is the weather. If anybody can walk me through, I would much appreciate it. Thanks

Hi,

as far as I know it's not possible to add Fizz Weather to Facade. You can not place a plugin in another plugin.

Maybe I'm wrong ...

Well, decided to tweak the default MS Homescreen a bit to my own preference:

I think the blue look suits the S710 so much better and I also changed the layout of the homescreen items a bit.

(Save as Skillz.home.xml)

No place "WindowsSkillz.jpg, WindowsSkillzLS.jpg and Skillz.home.xml in "\Application Data\Home" and select "Windows (Skillz)" in the

Home Screen selection screen.

Hopefully this method works...

Hey Paul,

Maybe it's wise to create a seperate QVGA (Vox) topic under downloads?

I mean, the Vox is currently the only smartphone with screenswitching capabilities and

I'm not sure if all QVGA screens work on the Vox?

I thought I read something about Facade having problems with the screen switching.

Plus the Vox is MW6 based, so the Softkey buttons look different on the screen (glass effect) and

the outcome will be different on a pre WM6 device.

I am not asking the fizz traveler. I want to use fizz weather with the following plugins added:

- carrier/wifi plugin

- upcoming appointments plugin.

I have tried adding the plugins by copy pasting the plugins from other homescreens. Helas this doesnt work. The added plugins dont show.

Open the xml file and do a cut of the last plugin (it's the fizz weather plugin) and then a past on the original xml file choosen before. The problem is i can't get the plugins of other homescreens in your homescreen : MonWirelessWeather.home.xml. In your homescreen i want the carrier/wifi plugin from e.g. I want to be able to seelct the following plugin and highlight it with the same color as wonwirelessweather.

Ok that work half way. I now see and select "upcoming appointments" And i already saw the carrier plugin. Now for the cosmetic part. I would like the plugins when selected to show bluw background just like when profile is selected.
