Guest gesam Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 Guys please I am totally newbie to smartphone. :P Is it posiible to move some or all the Start Menu Shortcuts (like Messenger,Windows media etc) to directories which I will create? Like the Games Directory which includes the games. :rolleyes: For example I want to create the Directory MULTIMEDIA and put there the Windows Media Shortcut, Photos and Videos shortcut etc. :D PLease I am waiting for your answer.
Guest conan_troutman Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 I dont know about the vox but on WM5 devices you use file explorer and go to windows/Start menu create and move the items there some items need a third party file manager/explorer to move them I use resco file manager. also there is a reg edit in WM5 that then allows you to put the folders in the orders of your choosing. WM6 may be the same I am sure some one can check this out (even you could do it ) and post back and confirm it works

The menu exists but I can't choose these options (Copy-Move). Is resco File Manager for smartphones in order to try out?

Guest conan_troutman Posted April 28, 2007 Report Posted April 28, 2007 hell no I have five folders in Key pad positions 1, Programs with the likes of docs to go, fixx travellar and quick mark 2 Settings this has the in built setting menu as well as autoflight reg edit resco file manager voice command settings 3 Accessories this has the likes of sprite WM5 storage webcamera plus and screen capture aplets 4 media contians media players and internet access anf picture viewers 5 is the built in file manager 6 Games 7 is sat nave contacts 8 is my SIM manager 9 is sat nav every thing else can be accessed from my home screen via plug ins or shortcuts with facade launcher whic are my most used such as alarms sniper audio notes and task manager I actual put all my facade short cuts in a folder in the start menu but using file manager I made it hidden so it does not show in my start menu
