Windows Mobile Device Centre and SPV M500

Hi

I am a new member so please be patient.

I have just upgraded to Vista Home Premium. I downloaded the Mobile Device Center to connect my M500. The M500 is recognised but the standard 'Change Content Sync settings for Appointments and Contacts cannot be ticked. At the end of the options there are some scrawny looking options also called Appointments and Contacts - these can be ticked. I tried ticking these but sync is not happening (I assume this is because they might be looking for the Orange Software on the PC for appointments and contacts). All of my contact / appointments are in Windows Mail so this is what I want to sync with.

Windows Mobile Device Centre Help says to check the manufacturers website. Orange website is v unhelpful and just says this is an old device so the only thing you can dowload is a couple of pdf files.

I used to sync with my work PC so it is possible that some settings need changing on the M500? Also when Windows Mail opens the top of the page says Outlook Express. i am not sure if standard or because I transfered my files over when i instaled vista.

Can anyone help?

Hi Stevie

As far as I'm aware, Vista is only compatible out of the box with WM 5 & 6.

Your best avenue for advice would probably be the Microsoft Knowledgebase.

You should find a download there to get full support for WM 2003.
