Creating PDF files on PPC (M3100)

Does anyone know of/have a link to a program, which will create a pdf file from doc/xls/dwg files on an M3100? I use textmaker/planmaker/powerCAD por 5.5 and sitemaster 3.0 regularly when on site; unfortunately my company doesn't pay for my data plan with orange and emailing native doc/dwg files using GPRS isn't cheap. I don’t want to pay oranges price for an unlimited data plan so would like to be able to reduce file sizes on my M3100 by converting files into a pdf?

Are there any “add on’s” to softmaker/textmaker by a 3rd party company which will give the option to save a document as a pdf rather than a rich text or doc file?

As far as I know, there's nothing that will do this on a PPC; most of the free/open source desktop PDF converters have to install Ghostscript, which is pretty large (lots of font definitions etc.), plus the conversion operation is done via a print driver - something else you'd be hard pressed to find for a PPC device

Could you not just use the built-in ZIP utility to see if you can shrink the files down that way; there's also a free version of the RAR utility - PocketRAR - that you could try - check out www.rarlab.com - for the download.

Not much help I'm afraid - just telling it like it is....

Mark.
