Guest mattyduk Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Hi, just received a Tmobile Vario II via ebay. Can I listen to MP3s using a BT headset ? Are then any patches I need and if so does it work with Mortplayer or Windows Media player cheers Mat
Guest pd.ryder Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Yes you can. They will play on WMP or via any other player of your choice as the clever bit is done by the Vario II rather than the player application. Once you've paired your BT headphones and VII, you should be away without any problem.

Guest Neil5459 Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 You may need to make some registry setting changes to make them play in true stereo. Many HTC devices (including some Hermes one's) ship with A2DP set to 'joint stereo' which means Dual Mono. When your phones arrive, test them on a track with good stereo separation to see if they are genuine stereo, and post back if you need instructions for changing it
Guest pd.ryder Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Which headphones have you gone for? Many have asked this question as there's soooo much choice now. Paul

Guest mattyduk Posted May 3, 2007 Report Posted May 3, 2007 right, that works nicely, from a technology point of view. Sony's paired and listening to MP3s using mortplayer. However, rather foiled by my crap ear lobes. These are the type of cans which have loops to go over the ear, then a small wire running between each ear pad. However they just won't stay on and wobble alot when walking down the road, partly due to the weight of the sony's Any other options ? Basically I'll be walking into town each day listening to podcasts, so ideally I need to be able to either fold the phones up whilst in town or put them in my pocket. Any suggestions ? (apart from ear lobe plastic surgery !)
