Guest finisterre Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 (edited) I often publish score updates during Billericay Town F.C. games. At the moment I do this on a non-league forum, but it's so bloated with extraneous crap that the pages take ages to load and are difficult to navigate around. Does anyone know any alternative solutions? I could set-up my own blog or forum and edit it using Opera, but I wondered if there were any off the shelf sites or apps out there that allow easy text blogging via SMS and/or Email and/or pocket-friendly web site. Really I just want to be able to quickly input significant events (goals, cards, HT, FT etc.) Cheers. Edited May 1, 2007 by finisterre

No particular reason why I choose it over Blogger or any of the others. Splashblog was pretty good and waay easier to use than most, not that they are hard.
Guest finisterre Posted May 1, 2007 Report Posted May 1, 2007 Thanks Falfa. Anyone know any that allow entries to be made by SMS. I get 500 free a month from T-Mob. What would be really great would be an Pocket Excel spreadsheet type thing that I could fill in during the game with info like team listings, subs made, goals, cards HT, FT, attendance - and then somehow hit a SYNC button that would upload it to a web site with a mysql/access database, and display it online. I guess I could learn how to develop apps. Or maybe there's a form fill/database capture/publish type app out there already that someone knows?
