Guest Kippax Posted May 4, 2007 Report Posted May 4, 2007 Just had my second Vario II back from T-Mob shop and connect it up to re-sync. Looking at the file structure everything seems to be duplicated. All the folders and files shown in "Mobile Device" are also shown in "My documents", a sub folder of "My windows mobile-based device"..... which is a folder within "Mobile Device". Is this right...? and given that I've had a couple of sherbets.....am I making any sense ?

Kippax, I think you are just referring to the way that WM5 and Windows (Activesync) shows the file structures rather than any problem. If you browse the "Mobile Device" from Windows (with an Activesync connection) you will find the views that you describe. If you browse the folder structure on your device you will see all is clear. This is just Microsoft trying to help you and show-up the My Documents folder as soon as you browse the device using Activesync. I think that they just assume that you will store all the files that you are interested in within My Docs - rather than the storage card where memory is not so much a premium! Regards
