video wont play smoothly

i have a t-mobile MDA, this phone doesnt play video smoothly if the file size is bigger then 50mb, is there anyway to fix this?

video quality is down to much more than the overall file size. There are many number of parameters that need to be taken into account such as bit rate, frame rate, frame size etc etc..

there are guides knocking around on here how to get full 2hr movies at file sizes in the hundreds of MB size playing smoothly so i think you have a little bit of research to do before writing it off as a bad job.

as an example, i have got Superman Returns ripped from the DVD and re-coded to a 320x240 20fps DivX format and that runs as slick and as smooth as you like - total file size is over 500meg!
