Upgrading to WM6 on a unlocked T-Mobile Dash

Hi,

I am planing to upgrade to WM6 on a unlocked T-Mobile Dash, so I can use it with any service provider all around the word without restriction to call or install software.

Will I loose the unlock ability to use any chip when I upgrade to this version? someone has already tried to do it?

I just received the phone already unlocked.

It is $30 to unlock the phone via ebay software purchase.

I need to know if when I upgrade to WM6 will I be able to get the phone SIM card unlocked as it was originally.
